If you’re making plans to develop a new app in 2016, and you have no clue what kind of app will appeal to users, the best place to start from is looking at the statistics of the mobile app industry in 2015. A report released by the Yahoo-owned mobile analytics firm Flurry found a 58% increase in mobile app usage in 2015. Usage is defined by the number and duration of sessions in apps. All these statistics show just how much mobile has become ingrained in our lives. Users expect more from their experience with mobile devices, and, as we all know, the best medium to deliver personalized experience on mobile devices are apps. This means that the success of mobile apps is becoming more and more critical in the year to come.
