One year ago (exactly on November 25th) Invictus Games released Race of Champions, a top notch racing game halfway between an arcade and a simulator. You can read our original review on RoC here. It got more than a million downloads and was nearly unanimously acclaimed. Everything nicely wrapped up with a red lace and a label with the word “official” in it.
Now here it comes the sequel. It’s pretty much the same, only with new tracks, new cars and new stuff everywhere. As far as we have seen, gameplay is as smooth as it was when not smoother, and graphics and physics have been improved quite a bit. In short, anything it takes in order to fulfill that vast chasm among driving arcades and driving simulators, perfect to be enjoyed by hardcore players and casual gamers looking for something more realistic than usual but not too much realistic, if you know what we mean. Races are one against one in KO tournaments wherein the loser leaves and the winner steps up a stage.
