PREVIEW: Death Dome

As games for mobile devices are getting better, there’s a side effect we all can enjoy: developers put every time more emphasis into their advertising campaigns, which are more creative and well-crafted. If we are still sharing and commenting (that bear rocks! up the rat! samurai wolf!) the outstanding Armello trailer, now our friends at Glu Mobile have sent us this little jewel: the pre-release trailer of Death Dome.
It has a completely different style, more inline with an imminent release. In short, it’s a nice way to show how trailers based only on own game’s engine and gameplay can be really compelling and inviting, and surely that’s what players want to see in order to add that game to their wishlists and save some pocket money for it.
There isn’t any release date for Death Dome yet, nor any minimum technical specs info. However, we can expect a free game with in-app purchases as nearly all Glu games have been so far (with the notable exception of CoD:BOZ), gameplay somehow taken from Blood and Glory and top-notch graphics and sound effects. By the way, that main character rocks, and we like that unholy mix of Mad Max, District 9, Doomsday and a lot more of stuff we love so much.
