A few months ago we discovered one of those games which in spite of having just a handful of thousands downloads, it holds all the elements needed to become a hit: originality, simplicity, cute graphics and high playability. We’re talking about BABEL Rising.
Peter Warrior, our EiC here at Androidzoom.com reviewed it this way:
Babel Rising is somewhat a pretty original game in which you have to avoid humans build a tower as high as to touch you. In case you haven’t realized it yet, you’re God. Well, indeed an early stage God who still has to learn how to use His Almighty powers [...]. It seems that humans haven’t learnt their lessons either and are trying to build a tower up so you’ve decided to kill’em all. To do so, you can tap them with your finger of death, strike them by a lighting, drown them, blow them away or even summon an earthquake or open you omniscient eye and burn that tower down [...].
After spending hours playing it on our Android devices, it was a nice surprise attending BULKYPIX.AMA’s pitch at 8th IMGA (Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona) where the game we’re previewing in this post was first time presented: Babel Rising 3D.
This time, AMA in collaboration with Ubisoft and Mando Production brings the next generation version of Babel Rising for Android devices which will be released in a week from now, on June 14th 2012. This new version has been put upside down regarding graphics: it becomes a 3D game with stunning environments and amazing effects. Thanks to multi-touch and motion control, optimized for both mobiles and tablets, divine powers are now more spectacular. Attacks based on the elements, each with its unique effect depending on the target: the Rolling Stone, Sirocco, Meteorite Shower and many more.
Manage your powers wisely to eliminate successive waves of ungrateful human who dare to question God’s omnipotence. Babel Rising 3D provides 15 missions and two game modes: single-player campaign and survival.
In a few words, Babel Rising 3D is one of those acclaimed sequels that overcomes its predecessor… And you’re just one week away to fully enjoy it. Keep tuned.
