Useless, unfunny and misleading… Prank apps which don’t make any sense.

Google Play has thousands of applications available. Some of them are amazing, others are just fun but nothing special and there’s a significative list of applications that are useless, misleading and simply not fun.

We’re talking about those apps who promise to do things we could never imagine a phone would do (because they don’t) and excuses itself as being: just for fun. But the problem is that they’re not really funny.

Among these apps, there are several types. There are free and paid apps, which not only don’t do anything useful or funny but they also charge you for nothing. There are apps which make sure you know everything’s a prank; and there are others which simply don’t make it that clear and mislead users. And of course, there are somehow believable pranks and other that just don’t make any sense.

We wanted to stand out some of the most popular prank apps, those that have many downloads and people should be already aware of. Battery usage seems to be a pretty popular problem among users and so many developers have now created miraculous apps that let you charge your phone in several and undiscovered ways.

This one particular app just asks you to shake your phone to charge it. Not only you will end up with a lower battery level but you’ll also might need to go to the doctor due to the extreme pain in your hand after shaking -because yes, they ask you to do that for a long time. “It takes a while”, they say-.

This one, on the other hand, assures that the battery will charge using solar energy. Obviously, it doesn’t but it’s also not funny at all and can’t imagine someone fooling their friends with this.

Ghost Radar is an application that apparently analyzes nearby energies and detects paranormal activity around you. It simply shows dots randomly and numbers that make it quite intriguing. After a minute it gets pretty boring, although we appreciate the effort.

Naked Scanner is an unbelievable prank app that should be more realistic if you want your friends to believe you can actually scan a girl and see her without clothes. It just shows a random image of a girl in underwear moving. We don’t buy it.
